I'm sort of half listening watching so I don't know if the subject of the timbre of your instrument is covered but not having the same tone for every part is, or can be important. Even if you just have one instrument by picking in different places, to change the tone can really open up a recording, so everything is not sitting in the same exact place Sonic wise … sonically?
