guitar super noob here and i have a question… how do i get to sound like that? do i need some kind of pedal or can i achieve it with the classic overdrive my amp has? and i know most of you are gonna say that i need to find my own sound and fiddle with the knobs but it would help to get some advise. thanks

When i do the 3-0 3-0
My fingers cant pull out as fast as the strings comes up,
But when i do it pull off style with alternate picking, i can do it.
Am i developing a bad habit?
