Beginner Strumming Patterns For Acoustic Guitar Pattern 2 – Beginner Guitar Lessons (VIDEO)
Hey guys! Marty Schwartz here again right here with my brand new project “MartyMusic” – I’ve released 5 brand new easy beginner strumming patterns on this “Technique Friday” lesson. Stay tuned for the end plate for the link to my “Easy Acoustic Songs” Playlist! Peace and Love and thank you so much for supporting my new thing right here at “martyMusic”
Anyone know where to find the playlist he mentions in the beginning of the video it's not in the description or in his playlists.
Sir you're best teacher
What really amazes me is that someone who obviously is quite adept in playing a guitar has the patience to teach us beginners. Great effort Marty!!
Frustrating!!!
i have been trying to learn to play for one year i have stopped getting any better and it all sound the same i strummed up down and that was it. you are not just born with rythum it can be taught thank you marty some people are born to teach thank you so much jesse
first down should have a slight pause in it š
hey i enjoy your lessons, you make it easier to learn. I think we would enjoy it more if you provide examples of songs to play with each strumming pattern
Just another older guy getting started playing music…and you're awesome!
Marty is the best!!!
SUGGESTION… Could you give the names of a few songs that use these strumming patterns so we can "Name" the strumming pattern, please? This would be so helpful! Thanks!
That was more challenging, but I was so excited to see how fast I could go between G and C š
i tried dud u u udu for 10 minutes, but came up with my own way to learn that, i think its easier, you start with UD then you count 3 Ds and followed by 2 U then repeat. i hope i explained that so its understandable š
Just in case anyone is still interested, it took me a bit to figure out what he was doing but here it is. This is of course in 4/4 time.
The rhythm is 1& 2& 3e&a 4e&a or 2 eighth notes, 2 eighth notes, 4 sixteenth notes, 4 sixteenth notes. It sounds boring if you just play that so he has instead taken some of the extra notes out. Therefore the rhythm is:
1& – 2& – _e_a – _e&a
Notice that the downstrum of 3 and 4 has been removed. Hope this helps
This dude's nuts. (In a good way). He nods along and tells me, that's it, keep up with me, like he can hear me. Like I'm getting private lessons. WTF? This guy's legit! Subscribed.
I just started. You're best to be honest. Quickly learned two strumming patterns. You're the best teacher. Amazing…
Till I changed from G to C you finished and was again on G š
Hey can you do a how to pick tutorial
wonderful and clear . Thank you
It wouldn't let me click on the link to see which songs to play with this strumming pattern
