I recognize Jimi Hendrix as one of the greatest musicians of all time due to his pioneering of a seemingly new instrument, he's one of the founding fathers of rock and roll in my opinion. I personally prefer Jimmy Page due to a preference of bluesier music, but there is no denying Hendrix is one of the greatest to ever live.
