I'm a beginner, I been learning and improving for about 3yrs. never had a lesson a day in my life.
I used Google for chord pics & i draw chords, i pratice finger placement & changing chords fast, then i search for a song using chords i learned)– and i use YouTube to learn tempo beats ….i grew up on this song, i love this song, this was one of the first songs I learned and after watching this I can say I've got some new insight and progression rhythm down for this .
thanks alot.

any chance you can start putting chord photos up of the strings your pressing? 🤗
why the Capo ?
When Chuck Berry played this song live, instead of "country boy" he said "colored boy" lol
Just in case anyone is curious, the song is in B-flat (Bb). That's one semitone above 'A'. That's why when he puts the capo on the first fret, he's shifted every open chord he plays up one semitone. So his "A" chord is actually a "B flat (also called A sharp)" chord, the D chord is an "E flat", and his E chord is an F.
I love you sir. Thanks a lot for your videos.
Another great video. What's your amp setting for this song?
andy, you're an awesome teacher! keep those vids coming!!
Eh=A
When i first glanced at the thumbnail, i thought you were Joshua Homme.
Great lesson Andy! Where were you 50 years ago? I could have avoided 40 years in the salt mines and been a rock star instead. Oh well. It's never too late. I can play old folks homes I suppose.
great video that intro was dope
Thank you!
wow Andy thanx so much. you have helped big time..
Nice video! Sorry for my stupid question, what kind of guitar are you using for this video? It doesn't seem neither an acoustic nor an electric one….
