Thank you!
Clauss is teaching you guys a very important lesson about sequencing. Taking small music nuggets or what he calls parts and moving them to another part of the scale. Try moving patterns not just shapes throughout the scale. I can tell you now that he wouldn't be selling a leading product if he didn't think of hundreds of these sequences to share with you in his lesson packages. Try them out. Give yourself a concrete step but step way to measure your guitar progress.Happy shredding.
hi clauss might seem like a stupid question but whats a good way of learning songs, after i have mastered the scales the arpeggios the chords etc then what, tabs are silly waste of time cant read music ,do i just find what key its in and then work out how to play by ear ?? i quess there is an effective way of doing this many thanks great program BTW you are a true master

Your skill level is phenomenal. I have watched a few of your videos and it is all very impressive, but it seems so far out of the realm of possibility for me to ever do. I just got my first electric guitar. I can play some basic chords… A, C, G, E, D, A Minor, E Minor but at 47 years old, I feel like I am waaaaay too late to the game. I want to learn but my fingers feel slow, chord changes sometimes seem slow and soloing seems like an impossible dream. Lol I'm sure I can get better, but I wonder if basically starting at this age is even possible. Also, there is so much information available these days, it is hard to know a good place to start, or what information or techniques are worth pursuing. Feeling kinda lost here! Lol
That guitar how much money?it is to understand what herd is?
Who else is watching this video on the t.v. while playing the Ingenium picking exercises? On the tee-vee! Btw, everyone needs to buy the Fretboard Freedom program. It is a game changer!
QUESTION: Given that you focus on the Key of C / Am for a lot of things, I wonder if you could discuss how one could as easily master the other 11 major keys (probably more like 5 or 6 other regularly used keys..and their relative minor keys). I know for myself anytime I practice 3 NPS patterns, for example, I consciously focus on where the ROOT note is and that has helped quite a bit when practicing 3 NPS patterns for other keys. More generally though, my question applies to 3 NPS patterns, CAGED patterns, triads, arpeggios, etc. It would be great to get your valuable take on this question in a future video. Thanks and keep up the great work !
Wow. I totally just thought that people who could phrase endlessly just KNEW all the dots and where to land. And im sure they have it NEARLY down to that degree, but this video really opened my mind up. Im gonna go ahead and create paths now lol.
Iβd like to think Iβm on the verge of understanding everything that you produce. I hate patting you on the back every time but insulting you would be quite hard lol. So hereβs another pat on the back for being awesome! -Johnny USA fl
Hi Claus, thanks for this video, I too find all the shape patterns either Major, Minor or Pentatonic at 12 to 16 fret note sounds good. Also acknowledge the step ladder path from 3rd fret low E to 10 high E, moving in horizontally oblique path across the fretboard. It's a real good reminder for my ongoing analysis for pentatonic movement on the fretboard evaluation.
This is so true. You may be one of the rare guys to dare to say this π thx!
